A Bit of this and a Bit of that...

When I was 4 years old, my new favorite song by new favorite singers, The Judds, was "Why Not Me?" Almost 18 years later, I still have to ask, why not me? Why can't I do what I want and be whom I want, without confusion, ridicule or unmeant expectations? I really can't get into this right now, because I'm not sure I even understand what I want to say-something along the lines of-what is right for me is right for me and I'm really tired of people, namely family and friends, telling me what I can and can't do. Granted, I've got a HUGE network of support and encouragement and love-which I wouldn't trade for the world, and I know they're all right (I hate that) and all are speaking from experience, but still, let me figure it out-God will help me, I know He will-He always does. Anyway, tonight my main points are this:

Why Not Me? For fun, fame, fourtune, etc.....

Why don't more adults jump on their beds, slide down slides and PLAY! Not just sexual play, but PLAY! I wish it was more acceptable for adults to be playful, I think it's what's wrong with a lot of the world actually-adults so often forget how to play, let go, let loose and have fun! There's no shame in getting drunk if you're an adult, but you can't slide down a slide-who says! I do! And you know what, I'm dang proud of it too!

It's 10pm and I've been up since 7am, so it's time for and I know I'm probably making no sense, but I will tomorrow.
