My 10 Favorite Things Right Now

Here's a list of my ten favorite things right now...not people, but things!

10.) My unmade bed: I usually make it every single day, really. But, these last three days, I just have been so busy, I haven't gotten around to it. It's kinda driving me crazy, but in some way, it's very freeing. I'm feeling a sense of freedom having an unamde bed. (Yes mom, I will make it. And yes, you're right, a made bed makes the room cleaner and more put together.)

9.) Cortaid Roll-On Stick: it's awesome! Just like Cortozone or Anti-itch cream, but better! No messy creams or ointments, just like a roll-on perfume, you just roll it on and the medicine stops the itch! Where were these ten years ago? Why didn't I think of that? Awesome!

8.) My English 100 class being OVER and DONE with! Yay! Big stress off my shoulders!

7.) My phone conversation tonight with my second cousin, Carla: My Great Aunt Patricia's (Pat) daughter. Pat died almost fifteen years ago, and I don't remember Carla. But I sure enjoyed talking with her and learning about Aunt Pat. I never knew her either, we'd have been best friends though, mom and grama say I'm just like her! I miss her! It was great to connect an old bridge as they say!

6.) My big blue robe and furry slippers: it's December and it's cold! My robe was a bargain at Mervy's for $17 two years ago, some of the best seventeen bucks I ever spent. It's cozy and warm and cute! My slippers, god bless slippers! It's chilly here in Vegas-really!

5.) My bookcase: filled with all sorts of books, poetry books, my books and so on. A rose candle, crystal book ends, pictures, more candles and Minnie Mouse Stuff all adorened on a tall, three shelf-bookcase with a secret cubbord down below (free storage). It's totally me and really expresses my favorite things and my style! I love it!

4.) The Ferro Roche' Christmas Commercial: the one where the different sounds of various doorbells make up the song "Deck the Halls," that's really cool and very creative! I also love the Target Christmas commercials, all done in one color at a time, so cool! I've always loved Tar-jay!!!

3.) The five carnations (four white, one red) in a big cylinder vase on my kitchen counter: I bought them last week, they're still alive and beautiful! They're so pretty and I got 'em on sell, a buck a piece, can't beat that! I LOVE fresh flowers!

2.) The fact that I'll be 21 two weeks from tomorrow!!! Yay!

1.) My Christmas Tree: so beautifully breathtaking! So pretty, nicely decorated, tinsley, fun and festive!
