Happy 26th Birthday to Me!!!

Happy 26th Birthday to me!!! :) God, thank You for this day, the gift of another year and the amazing people, friends, family and literally endless blessings You have filled my life with! It is because of You that I can celebrate this day and have so many wonderful things to celebrate!

I am seriously so excited, happy and relieved to be 26....what an accomplishment. There's nothing particuarly speceial about 26, but it still feels terrific! So far, I'm having a fantastic birthday and woke up this morning to a phone call from my husband (so sweet), water and coffee delivered by my mom/grandma and a truly delicious birthday breakfast! I have to make a run to WalMart (yeah, not a fan of them, but it's the ONLY store out here as grandma and grandpa live in the country) to get my mom's annual MY birthday present. I always give her a little something on my birthday as a token of appreciation for having me--I'm so glad she did, thanks mama! I do miss my husband a lot, but I'll see him tomorrow and I'm having a fabulous time with my family! Also, I have the best friends! Below is a list of all the birthday wishes I've received so far today, and it's not even noon! I am the most blessed person ever!

Aww....y'all are so great! Thanks so much for the sweet bday wishes! I am having the best birthday so far, I am 26 and loving it! It feels good, I do feel older, but in a great way! :) Enjoyed a terrific birthday breakfast (mom's hashbrowns, homemade toast, fried eggs) & now am going to make the frosting for my bday ca...ke! What a wonderful bday! I am so blessed to be alive! Here's to the next 26...one day at a time!

P.S. My grandpa asked me if I felt older and I do. Then he told me to hang on tight because before I know it, I'll be 30 and then 40 and then it just flies by. He's right. I'm closer to 30 now than I am to 20...in 4 years, I'll be 30. But I'll be 30 and proud! Each day and each year is a gift--even if it's hard, difficult and unyeilding in its tests....but I have a feeling that 26 is going to be great! My goal is to cry less and laugh more!
