Happy & Thankful!

Today, I'm feeling exceptionally happy & thankful...here's why:

*I'm so HAPPY & THANKFUL that's FINALLY DECEMBER!!!

*I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this time of year--I always have--it's Christmastime, my birthday time, it's fun, festive, joyful, spiritual time!

*It's crisp & cold outside and winter-y....and even though I can't get warm today, that's okay b/c it's December and it should be cold.

*I have the BEST people in my life--best girlfriends, best mom, best dad, best sisters, a great husband, and great kids in my life too! :)

*I have a warm, beautiful home!

*I have plenty to eat

*I have hair on my head, running (hot) water, a fridge, a washer/dryer, dishwasher and shower!

*My nails looks nice and pretty and shiny all on their own--sans nail polish

*I went to the Lung Dr. (Dr. Tu rocks!) and got a clean bill of health for my lungs--they're still crappy overall, but you know, I'm breathing better and easier and that makes EVERYTHING else better, and possible to begin with!

*Christmas lights & Christmas trees!

*Holiday music--of all kinds, Christmas and otherwise! "Deck the Halls," is my favorite today....and Hark the Herrlad Angels Sing!

*Being married for almost 9 months!

*Another birthday coming up & turning 26...I was sad to say ta ta to 25, but now I'm ready. Bring it on!

*I get to celebrate my birthday with my mom/grandma this year! And eat myself silly with gobs and gobs of delicious, scrumptious food!

*My ability to read

*I have the BEST job where I'm allowed to grow, shine, be challenged, excel and be supported! I'm so lucky to have a job at all, but I am doubly blessed to have a job that I enjoy so much! (It took me long enough to find it!)

*My car, that it works and is nice and big and safe!

*Clothes--dress up clothes, comfy clothes, PJ's

*The fact that together, my mom and I made a totally rockin', totally awesome, totally delicious Thanksgiving Dinner!!! Truly, it's one of my talents, I make a mean Turkey Day Dinner!

*Mom's turkey soup afterwards, yum, yum & yum!

*The fact that my sinus infection didn't get into my lungs, that it didn't turn into bronchitis or pnuemonia and that it was just a sinus infection--and that it went away! Yay! Praise God!

*Email!

*My cell phone

*The Rockafeller Christmas Tree Lighting Program in NYC! A holiday tradition I've tuned into on NBC year after year after year! I still love it!

*Blankets

*The elypitcal machine in my gym downstairs (well, not MY gym, but the one in my complex!) It's low impact, I can do it slowly and it really works my legs! I love that!

*Pen/Paper

*Writing

*The gift of meditation

*My church, I need to go this weekend--I missed last weekend 'cuz I was sick

*Minnie Mouse

*DVR--LOVE the DVR, God Bless the DVR! No more commercials and/or scheduling my life around TV shows! Did I mention no commercials? It's great!

*My comfy couch

*My warm, comfy bed to get into each night

*The crunch of leaves beneath my feet! I love leaves--always have, always will!

*Classical music--a new love of mine, I listen to it a lot now! It's truly awesome, in every sense of the word! Gorgeous music, truly beautiful!

*The songs "Let It Snow," "Winter Wonderland," and "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," because it is!

*Country Music that I grew up with, and the fact that I did!

*My mom being able to condense her storage unit and save herself $80 a month! Right on!

*Colors

*Trees

*Jewelry, earrings, necklaces--purple, pink, green, silver...

*Shoes--high heels, wedges & tenny's

I am done for today, I'm happy & thankful for a lot, as you can see!!!

Thank You, Lord, for it all! It's ALL because of You and I know that! Thank You for Your grace, gifts, blessings and mercy!
