WHOA!!! 2005 ALREADY!!! TIME FLIES!!! BUT, I'M FINALLY 21 N' TOTALLY LEGAL!!!

Whoa! What a whirlwind two weeks! I've wanted to write every day, but I was busy in Reno with family and friends (had a GREAT time, saw EVERYONE), got pneumonia and then New Year's Eve came and went! Before I knew it, it was already today, the second day of 2005! So far, sooooooo good!!! I feel really positive about this year and just think that great things are gonna come my way, and the way of my loved ones! I sure hope so anyway! LOL! I had a wonderful time in Reno, at home with my grama, her husband, my cousin and Aunt, Aunt and Uncle and two of my friends from High School! I got to see EVERYONE I wanted to, and even though I was sicker than a dog, literally, I had a blast! It was great to go home, but it was even nicer to come home to WARM weather! No, I know 55* isn't exactly warm, but compared to the literally 18* that I was in for FIVE days, it's bathing suit weather-and it's great!!! NYE was AWESOME! Hugh and I went out to a local casino, the SunCoast and shared a drink-a Cosmopolitan, no, not exactly your average joe's drink, but my guy, cuz he loves me (:), did so!!! Thanks honey! :D Anyhow, I loved the cosmo as well as being out on NYE!!! We went back home to my place around 11 or so, so that we could ring in the New Year with my mama, which I haven't done in AGES!!! It was great! Hugh and I both got dressed up and had a lot of fun-mama put a spread of food and yumy appetizers on the kitchen table at home and I made smoked salmon sandwiches on bagels with cream cheese! Oh, So good!!! I got a lot of great gifts for Christmas; some tops, a fleece jacket, mittens and a hat that grama E. made me (she's SO ungodly talented!), a $250 Target Gift Card (CD City in my case), a cute little handbag shaped sterling silver keychain from my best friend, Ellen, in Arkansas, and some really nice cards from everyone! That was the important thing, I don't need much of anything, but cards I keep and cherrish and treasure always-so not getting me a card on my bday is like a sin in my book! LOL! Sad, but true!!! All in all, it was awesome! It feels so damn good to be 21, finally, legal and healthy and an adult! Sort of, do we really HAVE to grow up? No, I do feel older, but right now, that's a good thing, I feel like an adult and am pumped up for 2005!!! My theme is "Stayin' Alive in 2005!!!" Whatda think?!!! Pretty cool! I was thinking today driving to Dylan's (the little 9 year old boy I "babysit" I hate that term though), that even though we can't live in the past, we also can't forget it. I think the past is absoultely a part of us and what makes us who we are today. We can't know the future, but we do know the past and so I have ideas stirring in my head about that whole thing right now, I'll write more about it later! Anyhow, I gotta run, I PROMISE I WILL WRITE AGAIN VERY SOON!!! I miss this ALOT!!!
