For Colin...

My boyfriend told me this weekend that he likes that I write. He enjoys reading these entires, and other things I write. That made me feel so incredibly wonderful! After all, writing is still one of my greatest passions and biggest dreams. I AM a writer, and I enjoy it so much. To find someone that supports that in such a big way, it's really amazing! We've been together a little over four months and at times, we've had our moments--topsy-turvy for sure, but worth every single second and every one to come! Every couple has their moments, and we are no exception. But, for the first time in mylife, I feel like I have a partner. We may not always understand one another, but we understand what a terriffic thing we've found in one another. We understand that we love each other, are loyal and committed to each other, and we understand that neither one of us is going anywhere. I truly believe that now, and it's such a fabulous feeling I can't even tell you. I have a man who's my best friend and my sidekick, and it's so great! We had a truly wonderful weekend and spent a lot of quality time together. We watched some great movies (The Green Mile, Lord of the Rings 3), took a walk, made dinner together and just hung out! It was great! We had a long, serious conversation on Saturday night, its content, though, I don't wish to disclose. Let's just say it was an enlightening, beautiful conversation that (I think) made us both realize how we truly (bluntly and utterly) feel about one another and our relationship. Those conversations are important, and he was right, it is one I'll remember forever! So, because of my great weekend, and because we're so great together, I dedicate this entry to him, my Colin.

Colin, thank you for making my life richer, brighter, better and a heck of a lot more fun! I love you, baby!

And thank you God for this beautiful gift, please help us both not mess it up!
