Still Resting & Congratulations Kylie!!!

Happy 200th Post! This is my 200th post, very cool!

I spent all day resting and relaxing and laying low. I went and got my chest x-ray and met a very nice woman named Ruth.

Ruth is why I don't complain about my pesky little pnuemonia. Ruth has Hodgkin's Lymphoma and has had about 15 surgeries in the last seven years, granted I have had 32 total, but I've NEVER had cancer. She was there for another MRI and X-ray to see if they got all the cancer this time, she just finished another round of chemo and radiation. She was wearing a scarf to cover her bald head, but other than that, her beauty was visable. Looking at her you could tell she's been through so much. I sent lots of healing angels her way and have thought about her since I got home. I may be a hospital veteran, but by the grace of God, never like that. God Bless Ruth. Her strength and her smile were inspirational and she reminded me once again- NO COMPLAINING. (Well, she didn't acutally say that, but still.) My goal for this week was no complaining, isn't it funny how God sends reminders? I totally love that! I pigged out for dinner and ate lots of snacks too, the medication I'm on makes me hunry and that's always a good thing! I just love food! Tomorrow, mom and I plan to dye Easter eggs and if he's not too tired, maybe my sweetheart will come see again!!! Le'ts hope!

Oh, speaking of Colin, BIG NEWS in his family today. Colin became an Uncle, well, actually a 2nd cousin, but he'll be known as "Uncle" Colin. His cousin, Kylie, and her husband, Paul, welcomed a healthy baby boy early this morning! I'm so happy for them! The first grandchild/newphew/newborn of the family! This is so exciting! Yay! I'm looking foward to meeting the little guy, I hope I get to hold him, but even if I don't, it's still an absolutely joyous and thrilling occasion!!! A new life and new parents, I'm already in awe of them and what lies ahead. Come to think of it, April 5th is a great birthday isn't it? I always wanted a birthday in April, it's Springtime and lots of fun! I actually do love my birthday around Christmas, I really do and I know that I was born exactly when/where/to whom I was supposed to be. God knows the plan and it was a great one! Anyway, many congratulations to Colin's entire family--especially the new Mommy & Daddy! They're a wonderful family!

So, today had a definate springtime feel to it--rebirth and renewal. An actual birth, and a reminder to renew my goal for the week!

Anyway, that's all for tonight, time to go rest again. I'll write more tomorrow! God Bless us all!

In Light N' Love,
-Sarah Liz :)
