7/7/07: The Luckiest Day of the Century!!!

I hope you're enjoying the supposed good luck of today...7/7/07, it's supposed to be the luckiest day of the century, but you know, I say I'm lucky every day! I hope you're all having a great summer so far! I am! I'm here at Colin's watching the "Live Earth," concert on Bravo, it's been going on all day and it's pretty amazing! 7 continents and 150 different artists from ALL different genres of music coming together for ONE single cause--to bring awareness to and fight against Global Warming. I think it's downright awesome the way this whole thing was put together, it's really cool! I'm enjoying seeing artists I don't usually see...even Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood took part in it!!! Very, very cool!!! Anyway, whether or not you personally believe the whole Global Warming thing (I do!), you have to admit that SO many people and countires coming TOGETHER for ONE cause, that doesn't happen very often! It's too bad humanity can't do things like this every day, just think of how much better the world would be if we did? The power of human beings is mind boggling, and today, I'm proud and inspired to be one!!!.

Anyway, speaking of warming (though not necessarily the global kind) the heat here in Vegas is absolutely scorching. It's been above 110* for days now and quite frankly, it's almost unbearable, but thank God for Air Conditioning, serioulsy! Whew! Wherever you are, I hope you're much cooler than we've been lately!!!

My computer's still not fixed, not sure if it will be anytime soon, but I'll be sure to let y'all know if/when it is...I might just not fix it and get a laptop or trade it in for one, we'll see....in more exciting news I'm going on vacation in about a week....Colin, his family and I are all going to Disneyland next weekend and then Colin and I will be there for about a week afterwards...I'm really looking foward to it! We're going to go to the beach and things like that, just rest and relax, it'll be really nice I'm sure! After that, next month, I'm going to Oregon to see my sisters, so I get another week or so of visiting with family, I'm also looking very foward to that! I haven't seen them in over 2 years so it'll be great to get reacquainted!!! So, my summer's looking pretty terriffic as it stands and things are going very well!!! I did sprane my ankle yesterday falling down the stairs at Colin's apartment, and my ankle is kind of painful, but you know what, at least it was just my ankle and not my head! It'll be all better by Disneyland and at least I didn't break it!!! It just made me grateful for the ability to walk pain free most days...God has a way of reminding us of our numerous blessings!! Anyway, Keith Urban is finally on Live Earth (I've been waiting for him for hours!) so I'm going to stop here....LOL! I just wanted to say hello to all of you and let you know I'm alive and well!!! I hope you all are having a fabulous summer and are inspired in some way by LiveEarth! Oh, and once again, enjoy the luck of today...7/7/07 is pretty cool! Thank you Lord for EVERYTHING--You're most awesome of them all!!!
