What An Awesome Day!

Well, my day started at 4am , almost 16 hours ago. What a wonderfully awesome day. Except for having to pee like a racehorse on the way to Grama's house, the day was great! Who the heck puts NO bathrooms or reststops in 200 miles? COME ON! Other than that though, Grama Joni looks WONDERFUL! Hasn't aged a bit and her house is aboslutely beautiful-looks like something right out of HGTV, or Home&Garden Magazine. Beyond belief! I miss Hugh, and my other grandma, but at least I've got my mom and grama Joni and am here in her beautiful, lovely, peaceful and warm house! 75* weather here, sunny, lemon and orange trees and a great mexican food restraunt. David wrote a comment in my blog, I got to chat to Debbie (my dear friend from the TY board), and saw Billy's new video FIVE times! Love it! Like I said, I miss my boyfriend, and grama Liz, but all is well. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Nighty-night!

Many Blessings,

Billy Dean FINALLY has a NEW & BEAUTIFUL, TOUCHING VIDEO!!!

Oh my gosh, GO BILLY!!! I know that I have a boyfriendand all, I still love and adore him! But, today, he's in Hawaii and I am 12 all over again! LOL!
My life-long CRUSH, country-singer Billy Dean, FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY has a brand new video out!!! And a song of course! It's called "Let Them Be Little," and it's absolutely beautiful! It's such a touching, truthful, well-written song-BD wrote it! It's also a wonderful video! And Billy still looks damn good! Oh my gosh, wow, he's still so freakin' good looking and sexy! I actually forgot how nice looking Billy is, my mom reminded me! LOL!
Anyhow, back to Billy...it's been YEARS, literally and it's SO nice and refreshing to see and hear him again! He's just wonderful! He sang to me five years ago, I still don't know how I actually stood up there, but by the Grace of God I did!
Anyway, the song is about letting children be children and innocent and joyous. It's a beautiful video from a beautiful guy who still makes me smile from ear to ear! Thanks Billy!

LET THEM BE LITTLE
Billy Dean

I can remember when you fit in the palm of my hand
Felt so good in it, no bigger than a minute
How it amazes me, you're changing with every blink
Faster than a flower blooms they grow up all too soon

So let them be little 'cause they're only that way for a while
Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day
Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle
Oh just let them be little

I've never felt so much in one little tender touch
I live for those kisses, prayers and your wishes
Now that you're teaching me things only a child can see
Every night while we're on our knees all I ask is please

Let them be little 'cause they're only that way for a while
Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day
Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle
Oh just let them be little

So innocent, a precious soul, you turn around
It's time to let them go

So let them be little 'cause they're only that way for a while
Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day
Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle
Oh just let them be little
Let them be little

I'm worth $2,117,643.50!

How much are you worth?

Happy Turkey Day!

P.S. My honey's worth $1,689,521.46- although priceless to me!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Well, a day early! I'm sitting here at 4am, wide awake with my Nellie on a blanket on my desk. I'm going to miss her, she is so sweet, and so cute and so beautiful. Really, if she were a nicer cat who wasn't such a 97% of the time, I'd have put her into cat modeling. I really think she is the most beautiful, precious domestic cat in the world, but then again, I may be a little prejudice. LOL!
Anyhow, today mom and I are leaving for Hemet, CA. We're going to see Grandma Joni and I am so excited! Why am I up at 4am? Well, I went to sleep at about 7:45pm last night, I was really tired and didn't feel good at school (got dizzy, nauceous and lightheaded, mom had to come get me cuz I coudln't drive, but I'm feeling better now.
I wanted to write yesterday and the day before but I just didn't have time. I'd really like to try and write here everyday, but we'll see how it goes. Definately three times a week.
I didn't get the xmas cards done, but I did get my English paper done. And I did a really good job on it. It's only my first draft, but no one wrote any comments on it "because they're intimidated by you. You're the best student writer stylistically and voice wise that I'd have in 13 years of teaching of English 100. I know you don't mean to intimidate them, but you do. That's ok, that's their problem, but you do have a real talent. I've learned from your writing." That's what my English professor, Jeannie French, said to me on Monday. I wanted to cry, I was like "oh my gosh, thank you." I know I was put here to write and that it is my gift. And I know I"m good at it. But, no one in school has ever said that. And usually, my Eng. teachers have been shitty to me and given me B's and C's on my papers when I probably deserved A's. Well, it's so nice to have a teacher who finally appreciates my hard work and talent. That last two papers I've written for her class-one about how Reno has changed over the last forty years, and why many Americans do not vote, I've gotten A's on. The one about voting I got a perfect A+ on! So I'm SO happy! She said it was an "excellent revision, well argued, great examples, good thesis and organization. Very well done, Sarah!" I could've jumped up and down right there on the spot when she handed it back to me. LOL! I'm really proud of that because I work really, really hard on my papers and I actually enjoy (MOST Of the time) the challenge of writing them. I also got A's on my last two Philosophy tests and B's on my last three Anthropology tests so I'm doing really well in school! So far, finals are still coming up though and those are comprehensive so I have study, study, study bigtime and hard for those! Yesterday, I had an Anthro test that I did not even study for at all, totally guessed it. So I'm nervous about how I did. But, whatever grade I got, I deserve. I don't advocate that, but like, I had way too much else to do with the Phil. test and paper to write.
Last Sunday, after I wrote in here, I spent the day writing the paper for English and talking on the phone to friends. I talked to Ellen, Betty, Nancy (who helped with the paper), my sisters, and a few others. I am really good at keeping in contact with people. I get it from my mother, she was really good at it too. Was, I say, because she's not anymore. She's not a phone person, I am. Still, at 20 years old (almost 21, a month from yesterday! :D), I still really like and enjoy talking on the phone. I t hink it's important to keep up with friends cuz friends are important. Hugh doesn't think so, but anyway. He called me yesterday and said "Gosh, honey, I miss you sooo much, I wanna see so bad." It was nice. I miss him too! I'm going to get all of my homework this weekend done on Saturday so I can hang out with him on Sunday. We'll be pretty busy! (wink, wink :)
Anyhow, what else? Oh, yeah, I have to go clean my bathroom and pack for the trip and shower. So I think I'm going to go. I was going to write about what I learned in Anthropology yesterday (after the test), but basically it was this: I learned about Arabs and Jews and how they're actually very similiar but are only fighting over land and who they think God entitled them to. But, they're very similiar in culture, beliefs, traditions and family. That's about it. Maybe I'll write more about it another time. Right now, I really want to go get a head start on things so mom and I can leave early.
By the way, I've written this in 15 minutes :)), well, HAPPY THANKSGIVING and here's to the Holiday Season! See ya soon!

Many Blessings,
-SL :)
