Arrived in Oregon (through Rain and Fog) Safe & Sound! Thank God!

I arrived here, in Salem, Oregon to see my dad, step-mom and sisters yesterday, June 27th at around 6:15pm. I left Redding, CA. at around10am yesterday, so it's been 2 days of 8 hour drives...but so WORTH IT!!!!! It's so beyond lovely to see my sisters and dad and stepmom, what a joy, my little sisters are not so little anymore and like there totally independent little people w/ hearts of gold, it's amazing!!!! My dad says I look just like my mom and grama, and I do......speaking of which....

I'm looking foward to seeing my grama on the way back down, her and I are trying to talk mama into getting a one way ticket to Reno around the time that I return. That way mom and I can drive back to Vegas 2gether, I think it'd be really good and that way I wouldn't be doing it ALL by myself. The drive from Reno to here and back I can handle, but that one from V to R, oh....FOREVER and BORING!

It was worth it though!

I got to sleep in until 10am this morning and the girls were REALLY good about keeping quiet for me while I slept, which was sweet!!! I got up and gave the girls the rest of their gifts, took a shower and then watched Jordan n' Joely make lunch for themselves (they are SO grown up now-gosh) and made myself some breakfast-oatmeal n' toast!

Joely is sitting my lap and I'm about to put the pix I took on the way up here into the computer.

The drive up here was nice, but from Medford to Salem it was rainy, cold, wet and really foggy the WHOLE way, kinda freaky! But it was very self-realizing...

I am giong to stay w/ Betty on the way back down and I think I'll leave here on the 6th, two days after the 4th of July, that's the Wed....that'll put me back in Reno on Thurs. and my mom and I can drive home either on Friday or Sat...grama's havin' a dinner party Fri the 8th so we might be there for that, not sure.....

I miss my Nellie, and I miss my mama and I miss my boyfriend!

Gotta run, clean the kitchen, paint Joely's nails and then run to WM, more later or asap!!! Bye for now!
