To Grandmother's House We Go....

Finally, after waiting and waiting and preparing and stressing about last minute packing and preparations-my mama and I arrived safe and sound (and a bit cold) here at Grandma's house! You know, home really is where the heart is, and although home is any place to you decide it be, there really is no place like "home," especially Grandma's home. Oh, it's just lovely to be here-surrounded with grama and her great and newly retired husband-awesome! The house is decorated beautifully with a big Christmas tree and presents (I KNOW that's not the point of Christmas)-the mantle has garland, the fire is going-we played Nat King Cole's Christmas CD earlier-it was just magical! There's food EVERYWHERE and grandma's famous baked goodies-cookies, pies, cakes, and more! Yum! We had crab and fresh bread for dinner-HEAVEN! I'm so s-blessed to be able to be here-home with my family, for the holidays-in a warm and comoforting home-we're all together and healthy and happy and that is just the greatest gift ever! Lucky me, I just adore this time of year, and my famliy as well-I do miss my Nellie cat, but I'll see her soon enough. Tomorrow, I'm going to see some friends and drive around Reno (where I actually grew up), the weather is cold here, but not as bad as I thought. This sure beats where I was three years ago today-BY FAR! My life is so full and complete and happy-Thank You God-for everything, please bless others as abundantly as you have me! Merry Christmas Everyone, time to go sit by the fire, chat with my family and have a cup of decaf coffee-it just doesn't get any better than this! I LOVE CHRISTMAS-it (really is) THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Many Christmas Blessings,
With Love/Gratitude for Family N' God,

P.S. A week from today I'll be 22, I can barely believe it, I only have one week left of being 21, and you know what, I can't imagine a better way to spend it! Happy Holidays!
