Happy Veteran's Day, tomorrow!

I just wanted to take a moment and remind you all (though you probably don't my little reminder) to pause and remember our country's Veteran's tomorrow. Because it's not about a great Sale at Macy's. It's about celebrating, and honoring, our countless Veteran's.

With the recent tragedy in Ft. Hood, I think this Veteran's Day will be an especially important one. I know my thoughts & prayers have been with all of them back there.

My grandpa, Henry, and a few of my friends (Angelina, Melanie Sr.) are former Service Members and I'd like to take a moment and acknowledge them for their service to our country--THANK YOU!

I'm sure we all know someone who has served in our military and displayed great courage and sacrifice for the safety, freedom and (hopefully) betterment of our nation!

These brave men and women give up so much and it is because of them that we can move about our country and sleep in peace at night--for that, I am eternally grateful!

If you're feeling a bit generous, a great military related organization to donate to is called Cup of Joe for a Joe; you can find out more about them here: https://www.greenbeanscoffee.com/coj/index.php . The organization provides a of cup of coffee (Barista Style, not military coffee) for a soldier fighting overseas. It's amazing how a simple cup of coffee is something we take for granted each day, now I don't. Anyway, it's just a thought; of course, the most important thing we can do is show our appreciation, and pray for everyone who has served, and is currently serving, in the Military.

God Bless each and every one of them and their families and friends as well! And God Bless America!

Here is to a fantastic Veteran's Day filled with love, prayer, gratitude and good ole' American Pride--even with all the craziness we have in our country today--it's still a pretty great place to be!

Nothing Is Impossible With God

Just wanted to share this thought:

My morning meditation book said this today:

Nothing is impossible with God. God often does the impossible to show His glory. God can bring whatever he promised you into being too. The Might One has done great things for me, and His name is Holy. (Luke; 1:49 HCSB).

Isn't this awesome!? It was such a great reminder! I am a walking miracle and my life, and every life--each and every breath and movement-- it is living proof of God's work--His miracles and His love. There's tragedy and craziness in the world, that I won't deny, but the birds migrating South--the trees swaying in the wind--the rush of blood flow and moving muscles I felt as I worked out today--the delicious food that fills my fridge, my job, and my family and friends--all such great blessings and proof that yes indeed, with God, ALL things are possible!

Thank you God, for this reminder and for Your handy-working miracles in my life!

I'm grateful for it all!

In Light N' Love,
-Sarah Liz :)
