AWESOME ANNIVERSARY! TRULY, WONDERFUL!

Happy 6 Month Anniversary to me and my sweetheart, Colin! We made it a whole six months, that's half a year! And it's awesome!

The link for today is eharmony.com because that's how we met--of course, our communication through that didn't last long--actually, it took us about four months (literally) to finally communicate with one another, but once we did, it went pretty fast from there. Six months ago tonight he asked me to be his girlfriend, to which I happily said "Yes!" I'm so glad I said yes, and I would again and again!

I was thinking last night while I was laying in bed about all we've done in the last six months and all we've come through; we've taken two trips (we're coming up on our third next month), two relatives have died (his grandma Liz and my cousin Carla, may they rest in peace), we've a few big fights and faced some obstacles I'm not sure most couples have, although everyone has their own. Anyway, we've come a very long way in the amount of time we've been together--what in reality has been a short six months feels like a heck of a lot longer!! But, in a good way! Anyway, we had the best time tonight. He came to my place and I made dinner--spaghetti, it was yummy! Then I cleaned up and we laid on the couch and listened to music! No TV, just us, the couch, eachother's arms, and music! It was great! We listented to Bryan Adams (I found a great new song!) and James Taylor. When I asked Colin who made him think of me, muscially, he said "well, now, James Taylor and anything country." That was sweet. Speaking of country, I missed my ACM Awards for tonight--I made him watch a little bit of it, but I taped it, that way I can fast foward through all the commericals of which there were a TON! Everytime I turned it on to see what was happening there was a darn commerical, it was a bit ridiculous. I've never missed the ACM's for anyone, so I must love Colin a lot! LOL! It was worth it! Then we talked about where we want to settle down and music and all of that. We watched a little bit of "50 First Dates," with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore (GREAT movie!!! WE both like both of them!), and that was fun too! All in all, it was a beautiful day and an even more beautiful night! It was the best time and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! I'd do it again and again!

I'm so glad Colin and I, survived six months and I'm looking very foward to the next six months! We are better for having met and loved one another! :)

Thank you baby for everything, for being you, for loving me, and for asking me to be your girlfriend six months ago tonight! You've made my life happier, better and a lot more fun! And of course, thank you Lord for this wonderful man, my amazing journey to him and awesome life in general!
