One Year Vegas Anniversary!

Well, one year ago today I moved to Las Vegas. And what a year it's been. Tough, fun, relaxing, stressful, enligthening and well, everything and nothing all at once. I still miss my hometown of Reno/Sparks quite a bit, although I'm not sure I'd really live there again-I mean, I've been there, done that. I'd really love to go elsewhere now. Reno was a wonderful place to grow up and now that I'm not near it, I truly appreciate it. But, I've had my life there, and I've had my life in Vegas, and now it's time to go somewhere else. Where, I don't know and obviously not for a while, I'm stuck here cuz of my mother, but not only that, am un-stuck here cuz of my boyfriend. But, I kinda believe that if/when someone really loves you, they'll follow you. That's just how I feel. I also believe everything happens for a reason and that without Vegas and this experience, I wouldn't be who I am today. Vegas definately toughens you, either that, or it ruins you. I'm going to let it toughen me! I hate Vegas because of its lights (absolutely nowhere in this city is dark without a billion lights-nowhere) and negativity and I especially hate the rampid crime (it's the 8th most dangerous city in the country-yikes!). I also don't like the exploitation of women, sex and alcahol. But, oh well, it does have its good points like it's open 24hrs, the food is fabulous and now that I'll be turning 21 next week or so, it'll be A LOT more fun!!! I'll really be able to fully experience Vegas and all it has to offer. Being under 21 in Vegas with no money, SUCKS! But it's a great vacation spot, just don't come in August! YUCK! Anyhow, that's really all I wanted to say today, just to mention that a year ago today my new life started. Then again, a new life starts every day if you let it.
