Beautiful Friday!!!

Toady is Friday the 16th and I've always loved certain days of the month, the 16th being one of them. The 2nd, the 9th, 16th, 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th, and of course, now, the 15th, because of Colin. (Note to Colin, no babe, none of the dates I just mentioned have anything to do with anyone else!). Anyway, today is the most beautiful day outside, and so was yesterday. It's a nice, semi-cool, semi-warm almost spring like day out. It's about 70* with winds, but that's okay. I got up today around 9am and watched Keith Urban on The Today Show, now, that is a great way to start any morning! He looked so great, having just been released from Rehab last month, he looks very good. I'm so proud of him! It was wonderful to sit there on my couch, with a cup of coffee in my Minnie Mouse Mug that Colin bought for me on our trip to Disneyland at Christmas, and watch and listen to Keith, very cool! Then, I watched Oprah, they were talking about the Secret. Which, in all honesty, I've known about for years and years, and I'm a bit relieved to hear that it's finally out there, because now when I try and explain my spirituality, perhaps people won't look at me like I have three heads! LOL! After all, if it's on Oprah, people listen, or at least are exposed to it. I'll talk more about the Secret at a later date, but right now, here's the link: http://www.thesecret.tv/. Anyhow, I went to Triple A to renew my membership (they're a godsend, totally worth every penny of the yearly fee!), went to the library and Walgreens. I've been wanting a new lip gloss (although I hear lipglosses are 'out' for spring, oh well), and I really wanted BE (Bare Escentuals) but they're $14 a peice, so I figured I'd go to WG and find one for much less, turns out I got two lip liners AND a gloss for $3.72, very, very cool! Barganing with yourself, it workds sometimes! Anyway, I also took a nice long hot shower and that was truly wonderful! Running water is such a blessing, it really is. It was lovely to actually enjoy the shower, with the time I had, you know. I'm sitting here writing this entry looking at and smealling my absolutely gorgeous Valentine's Day boquet from my boyfriend! Seriously, what a fantastic night, evening and man I have!!! I'm so blessed! Today, we're going to go have a picnic by the Lakes where I live--it'll be really beautiful, I'm sure. We're going to go get sandwiches and sit and have lunch watching the ducks and swans and all of that. I'm really looking foward to it! I've also go to get him to my nearest local library and have him see the Scottish Exhibit that's there--he's over half Scottish and is very proud of it at that. That's okay though, I'm proud of my heritage too! Of course my family's country no longer exists and we have no castles abroad, but hey, who cares, it's really fun to learn about hertiage--yours or someone elses. Plus, I think it's important to know your partner's heritage, very good to know actually! So, anyhow, mom's doing laundry (tried it once last month, absolutely hated it!) and I'm just waiting for my boyfriend to get here--I love that! I should go and find a hair tie for my picnic, with this wind, I'm going to need it! Thank you Lord for a blessed morning and a magnificent day! Goodbye for now, and God Bless!

P.S. I don't know whether it's my flowers or what, but I'm in a very pink/purple mood today! They're still my favorite colors, some things never change! :)
