Summer!

Mmmm, this is really wierd. I don't know what to write about today. Honest to God, I have no clue! I have so much on my mind, that I think it might be too much and I can't think of ONE thing to write about. I'm talking with my friend Melanie in Canada, she's so cool! What a great person and friend! Hi Melanie! Mmm....I want to write though, so lemme answer some random questions!

1) What are your plans for the summer?
I'm going to take a roadtrip/half vacation through Reno and Oregon! I'm VERY excited! Afer that, I'll be looking for a job!

2) What is your favorite summer activity?
I just love the laziness of it, the hotness, not having to bundle up in layers of clothing. I love to just be outside in the shade and read or go to the park. Down here though, you can't really go out in the daytime b/c it's just too hot. So, when the evening hits, I love to sit on my porch and watch the sunset and then go for a dip in the pool!

When I was growing up, I LOVED to ride my bike and just spend all day hanging out in my cold-e-sack! Oh and Ice Cream Man, I lived for that as a kid, and I still love it when he shows up today!

3) Do you sunburn easily or tan well?
Somewhere in between. I wear sunscreen EVERYDAY, rain or shine, hot or cold. I feel it's REALLY important for both health and safety AND to delay the aging process as much as possible! But, if I didn't wear sunscreen, I'd say I probably burn more easily than tan. Growing up, I tanned like no tomorrow, now, not so much. If God intended me to be golden brown, he'd have made me that way. I have no problem being a mayonaise jar! LOL!

4) Do you enjoy the warmth and heat and rejoice in it, or shrivel away from it and stay indoors all summer long?
I LOVE it! Well, I don't love it when it's anywhere above 110*, BUT summer evenings anywhere are my FAVORITE!!!!

5) What is your least favorite thing about summer?
The bugs! All the bugs and bees and spiders and insects come out and it totally creeps me out! I also hate that I live ON the actual sun (just kidding), it feels like it. I don't like 110* weather, but other than that, summer and Christmas are my FAVORITE times of the year! I've ALWAYS loved summer!!!!

6.) What's your favorite thing about summer?
I love it all! I love the abundance of FRESH PRODUCE! The fresh fruit right off the vine, the garden tomatoes, fresh herbs. Yum! That's probably my FAVORITE part about summer. In fact, it's not summer until I eat a ripe, juicy nectarine! I love summer cuisine! I also love dressing with little clothing. I don't go out half naked or anything, but I LOVE being able to wear skirts without panty-hose, open toed sandals or slip-ons, and tank tops and capris! That's my summer attire and I wouldn't have it any other way! :) SUMMER RULES!!!
